Shipping and Returns

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been dispatched you will be provided with a tracking number via email that can be traced.
Australian and New Zealand customers can track their order here, and International Customers can track their order here

PROCESSING TIMES
Orders are processed 9am - 2pm Monday through Friday, and are shipped within 24 hours of placement - excluding weekends and public holidays. 
Please note that delivery times can vary depending on Australia Post schedules and orders on public holidays we aim to ship the next business day.

Free Shipping in Australia over $200 under 1kg
Standard Shipping $9.95 under 1kg
Express Shipping $13.00 under 1kg
(over 1kg will be invoiced extra shipping)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING 
All orders under 1kg will be shipped using Express Courier Australia post.
Our prices include insurance on all orders.

NEW ZEALAND - $20 (AUSTRALIA POST)

All International orders over 1kg will be quoted excess shipping charges and will be contacted shortly after purchasing. Please contact us at chikabonitaxox@gmail.com if you would like a shipping quote before purchasing.  
Delivery times will vary according to your location and the delivery schedule of DHL & Australia Post. Please allow from 3-10 working days in normal circumstances and longer for unforeseen circumstances.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES
Chikabonita is required to declare the full value paid on parcels and must declare the full amount paid, we strongly recommend contacting your local custom office for further information and charges.
Please ensure you enter the correct address and someone is there to collect as Chikabonita will not be responsible for return shipping to Australia and you will be charged $25 should this occur.  
  
LOST OR STOLEN PARCELS
In the event that your parcel is lost or stolen, we require the customer to lodge an investigation via Australia Post and will also do the same from our end.  We will endeavor to replace your item once the investigation is finished and if we cannot replace the item we will offer you an online credit, we do not offer refunds on lost or stolen items.  Our packages are weighed & charged by Australia Post services, every item ordered is weighed individually to ensure we are sending the correct items to our customers and this is a safe way to ensure you get your items.

PRE ORDERED ITEMS
If you have ordered a “PRE-ORDER ITEM”, please refer to the product page listing for current pre order shipping dates. Pre-order time frames are estimated time frames of dispatch and could be subject to change.

RETURNS
We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we'll gladly accept a return of any full priced item subject to the following conditions:
Please read our returns policy to make sure you qualify for a return before you start, as items on sale are considered final sale and not eligible for a return unless they are faulty.
- the item must be returned within 14 days of purchase, we suggest all items are tried on as soon as they are received to ensure you are able to return items within this timeframe
- items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed and with their tags attached
- if you have received a gift with purchase during a promotion, the gift must also be returned otherwise the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund
Full Price: Styles that are full price are eligible for return or an online credit within 14 days of purchase.
Sale Styles: Sale items which have been reduced in price cannot be refunded
Sale items are only eligible for return via store credit within 14 days of purchase.
Final Styles: Items sold as clearance items cannot be refunded.
We do not accept returns on swimwear for hygiene reasons.

RETURNS WITHIN AU
To submit your online return, make sure you have a copy of your order number and the delivery postcode.
A $10 return shipping and handling fee will be deducted from any refund request to cover the cost of the traceable returns label provided by our returns department (applies to Australian customers only). 
All you need to do is lodge your pre-paid parcel at your local Post Office. 
The most sustainable way to return your item back to us is to re-use your compostable Chikabonita satchel which features an extra adhesive strip. 
We aim to process returns within 5-7 business days of receiving it back at our warehouse. 
Please track your return and if it has not been processed within 5-7 business days of delivery, please contact our customer care team to follow up. 
 
EXCHANGES  
We are happy to exchange on items, excluding Sale items, please email us at chikabonitaxox@gmail.com within 14 days and we can hold the item until we receive your returned item. 
You will need to include a self addressed express post bag or you will be charged standard shipping costs. 
Please ensure all items returned are in original condition and tags attached.
